Saint Martins Blocks Citizens Committee Joins Government of Montreal for Long Awaited Breaking Ground Construction Launch of Urban Renewal Housing
Members of the Citizens Committee of Saint Martins blocks invite residents to attend the Breaking Ground Construction Launch to support the Citizens Committee in effort to ensure the interests of the people are included while the community is under construction.

- Nov. 1966 – July 1967 Made rights known in expropriation, Marched to city hall & held public meetings
- Summer 1967 – Forming of Citizens Committee Association
- Autumn 1967 – Conducted survey on expropriations and relocation by written questionnaire
- Dec. 1967 – Defined aims and objectives concerning administration and rent scales of the new housing
- Jan. 1968 – Called upon city official to discuss housing plan
- Feb./Mar. 1968 – Recruiting for Committee
- Apr./May 1968 – Form a study with the citizens in the neighbourhood on the rent scale and everything else involved in new housing
